Biography

Guillaume Schindler is a pop/rock artist navigating between France and Los Angeles. He is currently performing around Los Angeles and sings at Musicians Institute, college of contemporary styles in Hollywood.
Born in Bergerac, France (Near Bordeaux) on August 19th 1989 to American and French parents, Guillaume enjoyed dual citizenship growing up, splitting his time between Southern California and France.
His musical training started with classical guitar lessons at age 11, and five years
later he began to study singing . Now, at age 22, he has a music resume many professionals twice his age would be proud of.
As a member of ensembles and choirs in France, Guillaume held principle singing
positions in rock groups and chamber ensembles, and sang in “the choeur voyageur” that won 4 National awards in 2009. He stayed busy performing in concerts of varied genres and instrumentation.
He received his bachelor’s of musicology degree from Michel De Montaigne University of
Bordeaux III at the age of 20; and after spending the summer of his Junior year studying in LA with the singer Charissa Nicole, knew he had to come to LA to persue his goal of singing and performing contemporary music and establishing his niche in the music industry. After Graduating from the University of Bordeaux, Guillaume made the
move across the Atlantic to enroll in Musicians Institute’s Bachelor’s Program for
Contemporary Vocal Performance.
Guillaume is actually performing concerts around LA with a full band, writing his own pop/rock songs.
In addition to his burgeoning Rock/Pop career, Guillaume still peruses his love of
classical music and is currently singing with UCLA chorale and has successfully auditioned into the chamber singers group, through with he has also had opportunities to work with the chorale at Our Lady of the Angels as a bass section leader, as well as performing in concerts such as the new production “Pandamonium” from the producers of the wildly successful “Stomp” series.
Guillaume is open to opportunities for session work, live performance, music history and music theory teaching, vocal teaching and coaching, songwriting and lyrics consulting.
